Computer Club We are now offering a new ICT teaching initiative for children with learning disabilities or a functional disability. Designed to match the capabilities and needs of each individual student activities/lessons reinforce competence in key curriculum areas, increase understanding of concepts and develop critical thinking skills essential to success in school and beyond. One
of the first elements the children can be taught is touch typing.
This will help them find their way around the keyboard in readiness
for more technical applications.
The
lessons are based on having fun while using the latest Multimedia
computer technology along with an understanding of computers and keyboard
skills.
The
lessons will be a brilliant investment and benefit their future
by not only giving them a head start in ICT but also to help extend
their memory and concentration spans and improve their logic. They
will also encourage children who need regular routines to continue
these routines but in a different environment. Morning,
afternoon and evening classes are available for small groups of
six to seven children and their parents/carers from nursery onwards. Anyone
